Below
is a poem left in my guest book by a lovely young lady from PA. What a young
lady!
Thank You Chelsea!
I had to give you a
poem, this is right off my head so I am just typing it for you Molly!
"Soon to the end..."
The early morning,
I cry for food.
My master hasn't come in,
I am left alone.
She hasn't come for weeks,
Months are soon to come.
My bones are getting weak,
AS my coat is rugged enough.
No more cries can come out.
I have gave it all I could.
She came back one day,
Where all she did was point.
Two men hit me,
forcing me to move.
I was shoved up a ramp,
Into a group.
Tons were weak,
all bones show.
They gave out cries of help,
AS this all was unknown.
My stomach growls with hunger,
As I and soon used to it's pain.
The metal on the sides stuck threw,
Giving us all pain.
The bumps knocked us down,
it stopped as we all felt down.
The ramp was open,
The light shown threw.
Spinning our eyes,
For it has come so soon.
the wipes slashed,
We were forced out.
Our bodies whipped,
as we were moved threw.
Fence on either sides,
We sat confused.
The shrieking smell,
And the crying from ones we knew.
The shrilling neigh was called,
Then it was gone to soon.
Soon my turn was next,
As a large machine was put to my head.
A striking of pain,
straight threw my brain.
A calling for help.
As I was struck again.
My body collapses,
Whisper of truth.
I have lost now,
As the light came threw.
The pain was all gone,
As I danced upon clouds.
Knowing that I was safe,
and now I know I was sound.

I have to thank you Molly, for
doing this! I would love it for horse slaughter to be banned in the United
States of America! If the French want horse meat so bad ,they can kill there
own. Leave our loved ones out of it.
If someone doesn't want there horse, give it to a rescue, there are many
around who are willing to take!
